Data collection
Potio does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Information you enter about your tattoos — skin characteristics, body location, wrapping materials, care session records — stays on your device, stored via Apple's SwiftData framework. None of this information is transmitted anywhere. The team maintains no servers, no user accounts, and no external data stores.
Third-party services
Potio uses no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no tracking services.
Notifications
Permission-based reminders about care procedures operate as local notifications on your device. They never involve any server.
Apple Watch
The optional Apple Watch companion synchronises data between iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. The data stays within your personal Apple ecosystem and is never accessible to the development team.
Children's privacy
Potio does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
