ToMyBoo

Privacy policy

Last updated · June 2026

ToMyBoo is built so the people you love — and the words you save for them — stay your business alone. The whole app works with no account, no network, and nothing leaving your iPhone.

Data collection

ToMyBoo collects nothing. No account, no name or email, no usage analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising or device identifiers, no location. There are no servers, because the app never connects to one.

How it works

The phrase library ships inside the app as bundled text. Choosing today's phrase, browsing, searching, and resolving the right gender form all happen on your device. The app makes no network requests of any kind — it behaves exactly the same in airplane mode.

What stays on your device

Your choices — the language you're sending in, who it's for, the recipient's name, the gender forms to use, the phrases you save, and your reminder and appearance settings — are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's standard preferences system. None of it is transmitted anywhere, and the name you enter never leaves your phone.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, ToMyBoo schedules a single local notification at the time you choose. It is created and delivered entirely on your device, and it never contains the phrase itself — only a gentle nudge that today's phrase is ready.

Third-party services

ToMyBoo uses no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no advertising networks, and no external APIs.

Children's privacy

ToMyBoo collects no data from anyone, including children.
