Slowbeat is built so that your private information stays private — by construction, not by promise. This policy explains exactly what the app touches and what it does not.
The short version
Slowbeat does not collect your data. It has no account system, no servers, no analytics, and makes no network connections at all. Everything the app uses stays on your device.
Calendar
With your permission, Slowbeat reads your calendar events so it can suggest a 60-second breath before the moments that matter. It reads only what it needs — event title, time, and category — and never stores the underlying calendar entry. This information is used only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Your breathing history
When you complete a breath, Slowbeat saves a small record — the date, the pattern used, and any note you chose to write — in a local database on your device. iCloud sync is disabled, so this record does not leave your device.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Slowbeat schedules local reminders before upcoming events. These are generated and delivered entirely on your device.
What Slowbeat does not do
- Create an account or ask you to sign in.
- Send your calendar, health data, or breathing history to any server.
- Use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
- Include third-party SDKs that collect data.
- Sell or share your information, because it never has it.
Your control over your data
All Slowbeat data lives on your device. You can clear your breathing history at any time from within the app's Settings. Deleting the app removes all of its data.
Children's privacy
Slowbeat is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
